In the middle of a cost of living crisis, prices are already high enough. We vow to keep the Coppice Car Park FREE, and support our local businesses during these hard times .

We pledge to do our best to maintain and protect our World Heritage Site. By supporting groups such as Our Belper Mills, and doing our best to regain funding for the North Mill Museum, we the people can make an amazing impact.

We have over 20 playgrounds in Belper, and many are in need of a massive update. By updating the parks, we can ensure that our children (and many children to come), have a fulfilling and memorable childhood  

We cannot complain about anti-social behavior from our young people, if we don’t support then with the facilities and opportunities that they deserve.

Belper Independents support the creation of a proper Youth Hub – a place where our young people can feel safe and that they can call their own and be supported through the travails of the teenage years.
